How Split Ledger handles information used to provide the service.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as your name and email address, along with the people, groups, expenses, payments, notes, and receipts you choose to add. If you enable notifications, we also store the information needed to deliver them to your device.
How we use it
We use this information to operate your account, show shared balances and history, deliver requested notifications, protect the service, and respond to support requests.
Who can see it
People and groups you share with can see the information needed to use those shared spaces. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can update your profile, manage signed-in devices, and control notification preferences in Account. You may also remove information you have permission to remove from shared spaces.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
